Employers Against Domestic Abuse network event at Nordea

On May 20th, in celebration of International Human Resources Day, the third Employers Against Domestic Abuse network event took place, bringing together initiative members, partners, trainers, and other organisations united by a shared commitment to preventing domestic abuse in the workplace.

The goal of this gathering was to reflect on the experiences and lessons learned during the initiative’s first six months: how organisations have embraced joining the initiative, what kind of feedback has been received from employees and managers, what initial steps have been taken, and what key learnings have emerged so far. Participants also discussed how to further raise awareness, support employees more effectively, and welcomed new members to the network.

The discussion circle featured President Kersti Kaljulaid, Terje Sosi (Swedbank), Karin Sahar-Lambinen (Lidl Estonia), Jete Elisabeth Sellenberg (Enefit), Airi Mitendorf (Safen), and Triin Adamson (President Kaljulaid Foundation).

The event offered participants inspiration and reassurance that employers have a vital role and opportunity in shaping safe and supportive workplaces — a necessary step toward creating lasting and meaningful change in Estonia’s working life.
